The Regional Steering Committee (RSC) provides direct input to the work of the HomeGrown StL’s (HGStL) Administrative Core, Preferred Provider Network, and pillar committees serve as a vehicle for the identification, dissemination, and institutionalization of critical issues that impact Black boys and young men between the ages of 12-29 years old in the St. Louis region. The goal of the RSC is to act as a sounding board for HGStL initiatives and to enhance impact, improve morale, and foster innovation and creativity across all 7 pillars of HGStL. The RSC is comprised of 24 senior-level decision makers from across the St. Louis region who have influence to shape and shift their internal policies and people to align with HGStL’s mission and services. Each member is appointed based upon their alignment within the HGStL’s seven (7) pillars. Members are appointed by invitation for a term of three years and can be staggered to allow for rotating membership.
